Does Mars sign play a role in attraction for guys?

There is a guy with Mars in Cancer.
Leaving aside Venus and Moon , would Mars sign play any significant role in finding out what type of women he is attracted to?
Or is it just Moon and Venus that decide?

Maybe.. I've attracted mostly earth mars guys - Taurus and Virgo...atleast the big attractions yeah..

Taurus and Virgo are opposite of my two most dominant signs (Scorpio and pisces)

I'd say everything in the chart collectively matters in relation to your chart, but I did see a small pattern.

A man's mars sign is usually the way he goes about pursuing things including women. I've also read the a male with Mars in Cancer likes being cared for as in his gf brings soup when he us sick or he's cuddly etc.

Any idea on how Mars in cancer pursues women?

my brother in law is a cancer mars and he's with an aries sun sister of mine.

that's square supposedly but it's a very harmoniously relationship.

also, i read it's a man's venus that he's attracted to.

so for example, my brother in laws have virgo venus and libra venus.

If a man's Venus is in Sagittarius, an energetic, happy aura in a woman is often most appealing. Generally these men are attracted to a clean, robust, athletic look, generally slim but not necessarily well-groomed. A tousled, casual appearance is just fine with these men.

personally my husband sounds a lot like cancer venus too. and guess what? 4th house dominant. he is not into career women or high profile types, and loves tradional women ect ect .

I have Leo mars and have never been attracted to Leo suns.

But every significant attraction has been either Aries or Sag mars. It's fire *energy* that attracts, nit the specific sun sign.

I can't imagine being with anoth Leo mars. Could be a riot, could just be exhausting.

But for women, her mars describes the kind of man she's attracted to.

My Mars is in Taurus, and I am attracted to Taurus women.
My Venus is in Gemini, and I am not attracted to Gemini women (that I know of)

It's not how these energies work, and you should look towards the placements in your 7th house as well as its ruler. Or if you find yourself drawn to a particular sign, look for its influence in your chart.

My Venus being in Gemini doesn't mean I will be drawn to women of this sign. It has more to do with what it takes to draw my energy towards hers. In my case I require lots of communication, variety, and I will want to know EVERYTHING about my partner, especially sexually. A female from any sign displaying this characteristics and willingness to share is going to grab my attention, and probably keep it too.

I would imagine it works very much the same way with women and their Mars placement.
