Understanding the Most Difficult Aspects in a Birth Chart

Challenging aspects in a birth chart include Pluto aspects to the Moon or Venus, Mars in Cancer, Moon in the eighth house or Scorpio, Mars square Saturn, and Chiron conjunct key points. These factors can indicate areas of emotional or personal difficulty that require attention and growth.

This could be planet placements in the houses or signs

or simply aspeccts

Mars in Cancer

Moon in 8th house/Scorpio

Mars aspect Saturn

Chiron conjunct ascendent, midheaven, moon, or sun

Those are just some of them

Yes, all the Pluto crap, but I would like to nominate Moon opposite Uranus.

Mars in easy aspect to Saturn could be great to have, as I see it. At least I'm happy with mine.πŸ™‚

Rumi and Taureye are exemplary examples of how you all should channel your emo energy.

Also mars in cancers are such sweethearts! They're like emotional teddy bears. So cuddly. They radiate warmth.

Seriously, this moon is very badly generalized.. we are as normal as everyone lol.

People say "Scorpio moon? Oh man..oh so intense..oh so deep..oh so this ...oh soo that.. oh how complex .. intense feelings blah blah blah ..sexual blah blah intense blah blah"

NOOOOO!
We're not any different...our actions or reactions makes us appear that way,and that too - because people have preconceived idea of what is "deep, intense " and shit. Everyone has depth and all that! Our silent ways and manners perhaps give off that feeling.. there are many shallow scorpio moons too.

As a Scorpio moon, I'm very happy go lucky, very simple and look for simplicity in life.

There are some basic agreeable traits common to this moon, like any other placement...but the moment it goes towards "intense. .depth ", it's all bullshit. Everyone has experiences in life that gives you intense feelingsand deep perspective of life, irrespective of the aspects because you are human!
People believe shit about this moon, I'm sorry to say but, people (even the ones who have this moon or any other aspect....that produces a plutonic effect) - who read about this moon are nothing but caught up in sensational illusions about stuff they read.

No offense but yes.

I have mars conjunct Saturn.. I'm okay. I thought this was a good aspect!

I think, in planetary aspects..,we need to look at which planet is holding the lower degree, and that will decide if it's a blessing or relatively challenging. πŸ™‚

For example, I have Saturn holding lower degree in my mars-Saturn conjunction. It is better than mars holding the lower degree. In fact, this aspect, (Saturn holding lower degree) is a blessing! Makes a person organized, focused, persevering and so on πŸ™‚

On topic, I believe there's no difficult placement per se, but only little challenging, if overcome, can be as fruitful as easy aspects πŸ™‚

I've heard that it's not so much having Scorpio placements or 8th house placements because I have it and I'm a walking la la land with sprinkles and joy lmao

But more so with squares or oppositions. I have 5 of them. I think I'm ok.

Wow. The first two people I've known that are happy with moon in scorpio. The Moon in scorpio people I've met before are depressed and all mopey. But yes, aspects are a huge factor and are probably the most important in a birth chart.

I'm trying to understand why a certain sign would be debilitated in a certain planet? Does it mean it's not as expressed?

Yeah pretty much. If you take the moon for example cause that's what we're talking about, it's home sign is Cancer. Cancer is nurturing and emotional so the moon is totally comfortable. The opposite sign is Capricorn. Capricorn opposes emotion and prefers to focus on serious things--like goals and leadership. And then the Moon is exalted or best expressed in Taurus. Taurus is earthy so the emotions are grounded, but then again, Taurus is a peaceful and a loving sign like Cancer, therefor the moon is best expressed in Taurus. Opposite of Taurus is Scorpio. Unlike Taurus, which feels things rather shallow, Scorpio feels everything and way harder than it should be felt, so there's no grounded feelings. And so the Moon is debilitated here because the emotions go way too out of whack.

But like you said, aspects play a major role. Someone with moon in scorpio in combination to saturn or venus will probably feel more at ease.

I never knew the moon is best expressed in Taurus? Wow! I thought it was cancer...
My moon is the least aspected, (after my MC) it trines my AS. That's it. Ranked 9 in Pullen.

Yeah taurus moon people are really well put together emotionally. What house and sign is your moon? Virgo moon in 8th house right? My moon is aspect by all kinds of stuff. Most importantly trine saturn and square pluto.

Some consider Neptune in cap as fall but I feel it strongly in my chart...most definitely other aspects play a part then. It trines my sun.

The generational planets in debilitated signs doesn't matter as much because well they're generational. The houses will have more of an impact, in my opinion.

If neptune conjuncts your ascendent it's going to have an impact no matter what sign it is in. How close is your neptune? I've read that people with a neptune conjunct their ascendent to have a button nose.
