Leos ?

Good evening Leo's , I have this leo male BestFriend he's amazing I used to think he didn't care about me much even if he says he cares he didn't much and yesterday when I was in a depressing state and cut I told him cause I trust him and that's when he showed he really cares he said I love you he said we have an un explainable connection that he will always be there for me he also said he loves me and actually said it first and spelled I love you and after asked how I was feeling my question is why did he only show he cares at tht point ? Why did he show it then and not usually like before .then he hasn't been sneering my texts free that but I reckon it is fuse he has. Stomach virus and is always resting so why did he only choose to show he cares then ?. Then a few days later he said he never felt so calm , only when he talks to me and that I ease his stress how do I even do that we were just talking
