Mars in Leo

I was just reading a topic on the scorpio forum about mars in scorpio. Well I have mars in leo and just wondering if anyone else does and how you think it affects you. I dont have a huge ego or anything but I have a lot of pride in myself and I hate getting into situations where my reputation may be injured. I have a lot of cancer placements so that probably explains why I am cautious in that regard. I think I come across as a bit stuck up as well because I am very aware of how my current environment reflects on me. Im kind of really conscious of how I come across to others. Anyone else have this?

Hi Tunes, I've got Mars in Leo, as well. I think this placement, & it is one of my favorites, btw; does gives me more self-confidence/a confident, pervasive kind of air to my chart, as a whole. I too have a lot of pride as well; my pisces sun of course keeping excess ego at bay..! lol I do find my venus in capricorn as much reputation driven, as well as the pride of my Mars placement; so combined, there's a good pairing there, in that sense. I think my consciousness and seriousness is more my Venus in Cap/wheras my warmer, vital more affectionate Leo/Mars wants to play, have alot fun or create something! So there's a bit of a dichotomy working there. With Mars inside my 5th house of fun, pleasure and creativity; i do very much at times like my entertainment/amongst other things somewhat vital, dramatic, showy or bold, as well - But never pretentious, or selfish. (Professionalism and sincerity is important to me.) So all in all, a very fun, prideful, action-driven kind of placement, that adds that extra fiery spark to other points (aspects) of my birthchart. I do find as most with this placement, a deepened need for respect; as our sensitive regal hearts can get easily hurt, otherwise. 😉

Yeah Im really active as well, I like to keep fit and I play a lot of sports. Interesting about the temper thing, I find mine comes and goes very quickly and I try to move on and forget about it quickly. I read that emotions are controlled by your mooon sign, and mine being in aries, perhaps that explains it.
