Try a more demonstrative approach, like inviting him out on a fun mini date to see if the spark is still aflame and this should get the ball rolling again and those little connections you're creating can open him up to think about you and think about being with you.
Just my suggestion, I definitely don't suggest you continue to talk about the same thing over and over again, it's a form of nagging and it doesn't work, try a new approach instead.
