For The Sake Of Love

Do Libras stay in a relationship even if its not one that's working out? If so, why? Have any of you lovely Librans done this? Please share. Thank you!

I stayed for a further 8 years...making sure it was the right decision (complicated with kids) then after telling him stayed another 10 months trying to make things ok for everyone...(made things worse in fact)

It's never easy to walk out on a relationship especially one of most of your adult life, but eventually with my UNFORGIVING nature it all became too much!

I think anything in Scorp will keep you there lol I have Mars in Scorp, not the best placement, but it def gives me a very loyal attitude in the most roughest times! Although in the case of staying in a relationship when ur the only one in love, do you think its more posessiveness or actual love that you feel?

22Diddy22 I hear ya! After being with this Libra for 3 1/2 yrs, I def know that if you guys ignore yourselves, the scales are incredibly tipped. Was she in love so much that shed ask for the attention or were u so in love with her you didnt focus much on you?

No truth be known neither liked confrontation and when you are friends within the relationship it can be bearable. We also worked together so had a focus of building our business and concentrated on material things and the kids. But like a volcano things just built up and eventually exploded.

We are now after 3 1/2 years good friends again, we can share family meals together or just a beer or wine. Mind you neither of us has moved on with a permanent partner yet...I hope he finds someone!

Sweethearts- "When you are friends within a relationship, it can be bearable" - I couldn't say it better myself. I think that, that is crucial to Libras more than any other sign I know. Without that, you may have never stayed as long. Are there any regrets because you stayed that long? Would you have done anything differently?

Irishlibraiskatie- " I think it would be liking to be with the person better than anyone else" oh man! That is how I feel too! its hard because the feelings you have are a whole lot deeper. " I have read that venus in scorpio is afflicted..." I have heard the same about mars in scorp. Its the fact that we do things with so much passion, its almost controlling and possesive so how could we possibly be in a relationship and share right? wrong! i too believe it is because we want the best. We just need to learn to let things flow even when we know the other is making a mistake. Thats what my Libra ex has taught me.

Thank you guys for your thoughts. My Libra ex has ended with me because he says that I am more in love than he is, and that its not fair to me. He says he still has feelings and that I was the best g/f hes ever had. I am afraid to let go because i fear he'll be back. he has come back to me twice. We decided to cut communication for a month to get over this, he believes we can be great friends after. This is why I'm afraid, our friendship is what got us together lol.

Hmmm hindsight...

I do regret staying longer because I missed an opportunity to spend time with someone that meant the world to me before he passed... but that's a whole different story.


But I know I did the right thing for my kids and by my husband, as if things had of gone differently I dont think we would have the same understanding that we have today. The fact is once you have kids, you are tied to that person forever and it is a lot more pleasant when you have to gather for family occassions if you aren't at each others throats!

I actually stayed in a relationship with a pisces for several years. In hindsight, I knew it would work out from a turn-point moment. But I thought we loved each other enough that it would. I've been thinking of him a lot lately because I've been very unhappy in my single life since we broke up.

I am glad that I stayed with him though. Things could have been better, but we did love each other deeply. It was worth the shot and we were young.

Muse, we always think of the good times of past loves when we are unhappy. But the thing is we never remember why we left in the first place so if you get weak and want to contact him...start thinking of the reasons you left.

I'm happy being single...maybe a little lonely for intimacy at times but love my freedom and just looking out for me🙂

You'll know the mother of your babies when you meet her diddy, no rush you are still young...in fact most guys need to be at least over 30 to even be mature enough to be having babies. It's a huge commitment and one that is generally left to the mothers to handle!

^This is the exact situation my friends in right now lol He is over 30 tho and is ready so I agree with that forsure.

This is very true. I would rather not wait until he is 30; so I figured around 28 or so. Because honestly; in the beginning the baby isn't very interesting to anyone but other mommies. Right around 2 years old; he can start to really help out! LOL

A baby is so much more of a comittment(sp?) than marraige. So I most definetly will be married and comitted for a few years before I think about having another.
