How Do You Find Balance?

Seems we're always seeking it, yet I can maybe count on one hand the number of times I thought I was balanced. So how do you recharge the batteries when the going gets rough?

I know a Libra who is fascinated by the Holocaust. He hides it from most people, like it's taboo. But my guess says that seeing something so perverse and awful helps him to better value the good in his own life.
