I'm curious about something. I do this and I notice my boyfriend does, too.
Subconsciously, when we kiss someone's forehead, what are we saying? My boyfriend does it quite a bit. I noticed last night that I instinctively did it, too.
I know it's endearing, but what does it mean to some of you?
Well, the "third eye chakra" is in the middle of the forehead. It is the chakra that governs intuition and ones sense of destiny. So if your into the spiritual side of things kissing ones forehead is an acknowledgement that you feel destined to be with the other person. I also agree, on the emotional side of things that it signifies deep caring and a sort of affection for the basic personhood of the other person.
I am a big forehead kisser myself. I kiss my girlfriends forehead while she is sleeping.
Me either! But it is awesome how my man brings back all the most sweetest childhood memories just by kissing my forehead. I allways felt it is a special gesture and felt the whole emotional charge that went with it, but never tried to describe it in words....Thanks guys!
Another thought! My guy seems to withdraw from some of the hot&hungry kissing session I am putting him through sometimes. I don't think he dislikes it, it's more of the feeling he's afraid to loose control of himself... I asked him, but avoided to give me a stright answer. Otherwise the kisses are great, sometimes the only foreplay we need. But I'm wondering what's he thinking? Any ideas?
Maybe he isn't into that type of kissing and it turns him off. I don't like being deovered myself or someone thrusting their tongue in my mouth when I am expecting it. It could just be a style thing.
Im not a hot and hungry person myself...and a Libra male i that helps. I am more a soft and passionate than hard and passionate. your description reminds me of Leo kisses. Leo kisses are the worst IMO. I equate one leo girls kissing in particular to trying to lick penut butter off of te roof of my mouth with as stiff and forceful tounge as possible. No thanks, I would have rather not have kissed at all than a make out session with her.
My Libra girlfriend reports indicate that her Leo ex boyfriend was the same way. Ewwww. She says his kissing style actually turned her off sexually. Thats no good.
Sometimes its not that someone is holding back or afraid to give in......they just dont like it that way.
I find Leos incredibly sensual. You just melt into them. It is a complete merging. The only weak-kneed kisses I have ever had were from Leos. Incredibly passionate and wild, yet sensuous and flooring. and never messy. lol! yummmmm.
Perhaps the leos involved weren't really experienced.
I must admit, I didn't particular care for kissing a scorp guy or a pisces guy, messy and yucky... The Pisces guy's kiss would definitely turn me off. Just damned sloppy. ugggghhhh.
"Incredibly passionate and wild, yet sensuous and flooring. and never messy. lol! yummmmm."
" kissing a scorp guy or a pisces guy, messy and yucky..."
I think passionate and sensual are interpreted subjectively. One person might think that messy is passionate because it might indicate one losing control in the extent that they are aroused. In my experience Leo kisses were uncoordinated and forceful which IMO is a dreadful combination. From what I have gathered from other people is that the forcefulness that turns me off might turn on someone else. I myself am turned on by technique and skill over anything else. Of course it should be natural and not forced or calculated because then one is trying to rationalize something that isn't rational at all. But either way I like soft and controlled over messy or forceful or any other adjective. The leo girls I kissed needed to know that the tounge is an accent when kissing not the main course. When someone elses entire tounge is in my mouth and it stays there wiggling around it kind of kills everything for me.
But it might drive someone else wild in the good way. So....there you have it.
My boyfriend called me yesterday morning while driving back home on a 3 hour trip and said "It's a beautiful day. Beautiful weather and beautiful drive. I wish you were here with me."
