Why Does a Libra Keep Texting Without Engaging?

So this old libra boyfriend i had keeps txtn
me but it's weird cuz he doesn't really say much
it's like

me: hey whats up x)
L: nothing, i'm at school.
me:hows class.
L:alright.
me: ok so whats on ur mind?
L:nothing really.

Yup like that with my Libra mate. But...my mate also seems to have moments where he has ALOT to say. He can go on and on and on...and if I am not paying attention - Yikes!.

So how I do is I respond back short, sweet, simple and keep it moving. I usually multi-task it. LOL!!

Bet you a cajillion edollars that this guy has a mercury in capricorn..I know a sagitarrius that talks just like that online...I hear you, it's annoying as hell..nad hten he has the nerve to talk about ME not being open. When he expects me to lead the conversation, basically entertain him..that shit is for the birds.

Trust me the only way to get this guy going is to talk about sex..than all of a sudden every perverted thought in his mind is all free flowing...just experiment...you don't care at this point. right? have some fun iwth it..see what buttons to push to get him 'out of his shell.'.

Bullshit...we love to talk...and i'm an awesome conversationalist, this has nothing to do with the sun sign, this is ALL about the mercury, how you communicate...I'm telling you, he has a mercury in an earth sign...earth sign mercuries are people who listen more, or they're more internal..and just don't know how to say the right words. He probably thinks on his end that he's showing that he cares by actually communicating with her, and wondering how she's doing but he doesn't know of the right words to say so he just does the small talk shit...he could ALSO have a mercury in retrograde..but I just feel realy, realy sure that he has a merc in a capricorn because I've known someone that did the same thing.

I get that, I'm the same way too, my mercury is also in libra, it's just that what you are describing isn't what that guy in the OP was doing.

A typical libra can carry a convo and we can listen to a convo..we would not initate a conversation and then expect someone to carry a conversation. We wouldn't respond with one word answers...that isn't typical. Unless we really didn't like the person, and we wanted to get rid of them, but if that was the case, why would we start the conversation?

That's why I'm sure his merc is in an earth sign..

Mercury in Libra here as well. This is how I am and I'll add that it depends on the people I'm carrying on a conversation with. A lot of it for me depends on a persons vibe/energy. If I'm not vibing with you then I won't talk and if their energy is real negative then I'm just out period. I'm highly sensitive to people's energy they give off and if it's negative energy it drains me.

It's nicer to find your own wagon to ride on than being all like Beiber, Britney etc for some, Like Kings of Leon or some band with a silly name for others.

But then there's always loads of that smelli hip hop that you don't like that's really lyrical and stuff, again I don't go overboard, but some like to ride that particular wagon.
Different strokes for different folks y'see. Not the band the Srtokes though because they're a bit shit tbh.
