The other thing I find myself doing and I thought I'd share is when I am in love with someone (and a ongoing fling exists) is that I kinda 'give homework' to the object of my affection.
Then I guess I test later (whenever it suits me, not the following day or anything like that) to see if he's remembered. And if he did not remember I would be disappointed and make it clear that I am not impressed - in a cute way.
