I tend to fret A LOT about my skin. I use to get obsessive about any blemishes, but I have learned to relax.
Funny, I was going to do a challenge where I didn't buy anything other than food for six months but the one thing I couldn't give up was lotion. :/
I used to be BIG into lotions, but have found more awesome results with body oils that you splash on after you shower! It's amazing, so silky and soft!
you know, olive oil is good too"
LOL...little sparrow! you didn't have to break your experiment after all!
* She says that skin was one of the most important elements of beauty
I totally agree with this. Radiant skin is so fantastic!
I use oils sometimes, sometimes coco butter, etc., ect. lol!
I am curious about the body oil you use and how you use it. I was mainly using a massage oil with an essential oil blend I put in it. 🙂

NOW you tell me! lol!
My favorite is Nutragena Seasame Seed Body Oil. It smells sooo good, but costs a fortune at $ 9/bottle. Baby oil gives the same effect, but personally, I don't like the smell of it, though it fades pretty quickly. There are a few off-brand oils you can find near the Nutragena stuff, but I haven't tried them yet. Still using up a bottle of baby oil (w/aloe vera).
A friend of mine is a Estee Lauder skin care specialist and she recommends mixing corn meal and olive oil into a paste to use as an exofiliant on your face. She says it is better than anything you can buy from Estee Lauder.
oh! I would think salt would dry the skin out?
I take salt baths but usually use a moisturizer after so I never noticed the drying effect.
(Man, I am so tired and bored at work today. I really want to go home and nap. 🙂)
ludicrisly bored. bored. bored.
i used to be obsessed with my skin. my libra doesn't care. so, i am obsessed with his skin.
I dont use any types of lotions but when i need something I will only use Vitamin E cream

I read somewhere that Libras are particularly prone to taking excellent care of their skin. Some are said to invest a lot of money into products just for this cause.
I don't personally invest a whole lot, but I do find myself taking a lot of time and care with my skin. I have over the years perfected a regimine that includes specific soaps and oils and lotions.
