Sun sign allocation

Is it the moment one is born that defines a sun sign or the moment that one's conceived? Or to be more precise, the day you're due to have a baby may not be the actual date of birth of a child and so this delay can make your child's date of birth go into the next zodiac sign. Does anyone know the actual answer to this?

I am pretty sure it has more to do with the moment of birth hence the reason for degrees to plante sign positioning.

Very interesting Libra, my baby was due April 11th, which would have made her an Aries, she was born March 1st. She is so a Pisces, meaning she acts like a pisces not an aries.

It is the moment of birth. The energy that the planets project leaves an imprent on the person as soon as they enter the world. Until then they are protected by the mothers womb.
