well actually i noticed that most families charts are either very similar or opposite from one another. for example, i have some virgo and leo planets in my chart. but my sister has pisces and aquarius in hers. my father also has virgo and aquarius which makes them completement each other in alot of ways. my grandmother (father side) is capricorn (opposing my cancer moon) and my aunt also has a capricorn moon. but my father and aunt are both virgo sun and their parents are bother capricorn suns. my mother is a libra/scorp cusp sun but my rising is aries/taurus.(which is also opposing) i've noticed this pattern in alot of families. my friend has two sons (1 gemini sun, 1 sag sun). another friend has two sons as well. 1 capricorn and the other cancer. i also have a friend who is a pisces but she has alot of aries in her chart. but her mother and grandmother are both libra. but she has 2 brothers. 1 is scorpio and the other pisces(they have the same bday). and her father is aries sun sag moon. her sister is a gemini sun. have another friend who is virgo but her sis is a pisces. this is jus a pattern that i noticed. i dnt kno if your into reincarnation but they say that u are put in families to learn certain lessons. some good (similar charts) or to learn hard lessons (opposing charts). but either way if your family has a lot of libras u wouldn't nessessarily have a "libra" way of life. if u have libra traits it's sumthing in your chart that creating it.

depends a lot on the signs involved. like a libra child will probably be better off having a libra parent (unless the libra parent is a total mess, which sets a bad example) than they would if they had perhaps a capricorn parent. libra children respond best to praise, and tend to just become difficult if punished or controlled. a parent who gives a libra child a disappointed look when the libra does something bad will be able to control the child's behavior much better than if they yell at them.

a libra family could also be really depressing, though. we aren't very good at expressing our emotions a lot of the time. we're pretty cold. we're all about decorum and stuff. and very passive. imagine a family where no one ever says "turn down the thermostat, please", instead they just constantly ask "are you cold?". and instead of "let's go eat" they ask "are you hungry?". and there wouldn't really be any leader in the family.

i'd be more concerned with a family having compatible or incompatible charts, rather than simply considering sun signs.

^ lol. i've been in that position with pets. i'll say to myself 'oh, they just aren't very affectionate', then they end up being super affectionate lapcats with my mom or a friend or something. and i've gotten soooooo jealous. after a while, i had to admit to myself that i'm just not very affectionate. i care, but i don't show it like that (i'd take them to the vet and give them their medicine when they got sick and put their flea treatment on them every month, the "bad cop" stuff). one day if i have kids, i'll have to make sure that it's with a man who is more of a mom than i can be, because i don't want my kids to lack that affection. when they get older, they'll know all the behind the scenes work i did to make their lives better, and they'll understand how i feel. but while they're young, they'll only care about who hugs best and plays most. and i'll be the bad cop who who takes them for their vaccinations and puts carrot sticks in their lunch instead of candy.
