What Gift?

Soooooo what gift are you giving your Libra for Valentine's Day?

I have decided to keep it simple and not too mushy.....mine likes a particular liqueur and so I have bought that for him

Don't quite have a valentine... Don't think I will be buying a gift or recieving one... Bummer, maybe next year...

Queen, I'm getting calls from my Leo friend, a sexy PYT who autodials when her list of studs dries up. She knows I ALWAYS spoil her (dinner, coffee, dessert, etc.). So I think she's fishing for a V date, but I'd rather put the spotlight on Libra Girl than Leo Girl---Libra Girl has more class; Leo Girl has more sass. BOTH sexy beauties, but I like Libra Girl's style better. So MAYBE I'll get a small box of those rock hard heart-shaped candies and tell her to take her pick. . .

Atom, do you know if Libra girl likes accessories like through pillows? Have you been to her house and checked out her decor?

Mind you, Im not big on Valentines Day - I think its basically for retailers to get even more money just after Xmas and before Easter...sheesh!!!

Hadn't planned on anything. My Lib is from another culture and has a tough time understanding the American tradition of buying gifts for someone because it is a particular day (b-day, v-day, etc.) and not just b/c there is something you'd like to get them.

If I see something or think of something I know he would totally love, I'll get it for him...otherwise, we're going to go out on the town in San Diego next weekend.

ammorocks...that's exactly how I feel too although it is all romantic and stuff, it puts so much pressure on people to "show" they care because retailers promote it so much!!! I'd much rather somebody do something nice when they wanted to, not because they were pushed to *shrugs*

I'm so nervous because I don't know what to give. I've never had a Valentine and my first one is a Libra indeed!

QS, Yeah, Libra Girl likes pillows generally. She called and offered to make dinner for me tonight! AND talked about future plans (secured coupons for a top-of-the-line restaurant we would enjoy.

Grabbed the whip and chair and said to the Leo Lioness, "Down, girl! Down!"---actually came up with a reason for being too busy on V Day---focusing ONLY on Libra.

well ... I have a bit of a pickle cause Aquaguy's b-day is Valentine's Day. I don't know if we still have plans or not. We have only been out a handful of times so I really don't feel like going over the top but know it is one of those I should do something occassions.

SOOO, I am baking him a bunch of homemade cookies and giving him one of my small sketches, a nude, framed. Since he is an artist and just moved into a new apartment, it seems like the perfect little gift idea. Not too much, not too little. (The cookies are for V-day. Being a Libra girl, I am not too domestic. Baking cookies is a pretty grand gesture. LMAO!)

I think holidays are fun AND important! If a guy did nothing for me, I would be less than impressed.

I have no idea what is going on with Aquaguy. He is so bloody sensitive. We got into a huge misunderstanding last night. The more I tried to make things better, the worse it seemed to get.

Soooo, now I have no idea what is going on and wether or not we are still getting together. He gave me a "I'll call you." at the end.

I HATE having things up in the air. I HATE tension. I HATE conflict.

This sucks.

I don't mind being judged as long as it is for things I DID do, but spinning things I didn't do ... frustrating.
