lol!

I am the only person you will ever meet who has turn down three positions as trophy wife and am happily dating a creative guy with no money. I need a partner

Almost every Libra woman I know has married a creative guy. Photographers, screenwriters, filmmakers, musicians, deisners, etc. These guys generally aren't rich. Many have sacraficed comfort to help their partners career. Most have helped put them through school or went without to help pay the bills of the partners dreams. I remember one girl who I use to work with who was really upset because her husbands photography business wasn't up and running yet. She only had three pairs of pants and one pair needed to be thrown out because they were worn through but she didn't want to tell him and make him feel bad.

Having dated politicans and bankers and been nothing but frustrated and empty, I understand the appeal of the creative man who understands me better.

* but prestige i know they willl definitely factor into love

No. That is a Scorp thing. Not a Libra thing.

Libra seeks a true partner who understands them.

I can't use anyone. I am too honest.

I think there are fewer things sadder than a man who believes his money will win him love. I have met too many old men who desperately throw themselves at younger women because they think their money will win these women to them. Sadly, they don't know that the women are really put off by it and laughing at them.

People usually assume things about me that are untrue because of the way I look.

My roomie (also a Libra) and I use to have men come up to us when we went out together and they would say ... If I made more money, I would date someone like you.

We were never sure if that was a compliment or a put down.

I am attracted to intelligent guys. Libra seldom look to people below their perceived intellectual level. Snobby, but true..
And smart guys make money...
I prefer self made men, rather than daddy's cash boys because I predict the latter may squander most away.
I prefer those I can meld on an intellectual and emotional level, so, call it love, you may, perhaps love of self.
But yes, libra is too proud to marry for status or money.. perhaps if they don't know otherwise, or the partner treats them real good, and they think it's love.

In any case, I don't rely on a guy to PROVIDE for me exclusively, but if he has no money sense, or at least a capacity to earn or be hardworking, I would see no future and would still love him, but will NEVER support him. I'm too proud to support a man, and this is a note to myself, too, in case its a never say never.

So, equal comes up again.. but I know as I grow older, climb up the career ladder, my priorities may change, so I wouldn't take this as set for now.

I believe in self-love. Who we attract and accept treatment from are a reflection of ourselves. Ultimately the reliance of another for love will break you especially if you're blind to their faults.

Even if the person loves you back whom you love, things aren't so simple. They have their own self issues to resolve which may prevent any true union, which gives rise to natural relationship dramas.

Also, i dont think things are black and white as to marrying for love or money per se.. everything is intertwined, and everything is a two way street. by the way, money is never enough, the richest of rich may say they are poor, yet the poorer will say they are rich.. either way, they are right.

Shaka, Libra love fine things. But that doesn't mean we spend like earth people to have fine things. Libra spends wisely and at times we think we are being way stingy when it comes to ourselves. We spend more for others than for our own pleasure.

Like a friend's friend virgo went and bought himself a BMW 7 series bcoz his boss has one. Another friend of mine wanted to buy the same speakers I got which costs 75USD and weights 2Kgs even though he just bought a huge costly home theater system.

I dont give a sh!t about what others have and buy something to compete with others. When we buy, we buy what we really need. Whatever meets our actual requirement. I love to have a beautiful looking sony viao. But am not stupid to spend 2-3K USD on a brand when i can find the same config for 1K USD under Dell or Acer. Attimes we fall for that and end up buying costly stuffs without much thinking. Esp during young ages.

Most aqua women i know carries 3-4 yrs old cell phone. they dont waste money to keep upgrading their phone every 6 months. I admire them for that.

"IMO Libras do care for money, more than many other signs, they need their basic Venusian pleasures to be fulfilled and lets face it, they are mostly about money in the end."

We do care about money but not for the reasons you stated. If we care or stress about money it is because we want to be able to provide ourselves or our loved ones the freedom that comes with money. Not the material items.

I'm a Libra and one of the least materialistic people I know. I would rather have experience, wisdom and knowledge than money. You take those things out of this world with you when you go, you can't take money.

My girlfriend is a Libra. And, while like me does like to spend a few extra bucks every once in a while to treat herself, me, or the both of us it is never a priority and I have to sometimes remind her and myself to use our money just for fun every once in a while. I have been with her for almost a year. she has never made me insecure about what I make.

LIke LS and others stated. She is looking for a self made man weather he is rich or not is not important but rather the character forged from the process of becomming a self made man. As a Libra man, I desire a self made woman. A woman I can feel confident has seen and experienced what it is to have her character forged herself. A woman who has had to make the hard choices and has come out of it without an ounce of spite, blame, or excuse.

Money doesn't matter. In fact, with Libras....we strive to find that perfect partner so that we can have the independance and clarity within our relationship to persue our true desires and this allows us to become wealthy under our own power should we choose to.

that thought sure goes through our head. but we are proud people. wont marry for money.

Yah, even though he doesn't post anymore, he was right on the money with this.

Marrying for money sort of implies an obligation...obligations are restrictive..restrictions make libras feel antsy...or depressed.

Marrying for love is the ideal..I'd rather marry a poor man I loved, than a rich guy i sort of liked. you could always get money.
