Because mine are.

We have never been able to get a break from the place next door. I think we've had like 3-4 different people/families live next door over the last 8-9 years that we've been here, and have had issues with all but one.

The current ones, while they seem nice enough... ugh.

The main issue is just them and their fucking cars. It's already kinda shady that they have so many going in and out and the different cars that we've seen (which tells me that they DO have somewhere else to keep them).

It wasn't an issue at first though. It's a 3 bedroom but there's FIVE cars present at all times, plus a few randoms. They would park two out back and the three out front made things a little crowded, but no big deal. Well one of them did the stupid move of leaving their clicker in their car out for all to see. So it got broken into (which is why we don't always park out back. It's an alleyway and some cars have been broken into when they leave valuables out to be seen) and someone got into their garage. I'm not sure if they took anything per se, but that's what happened.

Ever since, they have been parking all FIVE cars out front, making life hell for everyone on the cul-de-sac. Not only do they park all five out there, but they park badly, wasting valuable space and screwing many of us over in terms of parking. THEN they had the balls to tell some random person/neighbor/whomever that they could park in our driveway. They didn't think that we would mind.

...

Two times since, we've caught people parking in our drive out back. That pissed me off a bit because not only are they fucking up parking out front for us, but now they're screwing us over in OUR own driveway.

Meanwhile, none of them park in their driveway. I wouldn't even care about all of this if they did. But they won't bother parking out back and expect everyone else to suffer. We have 3 cars, so two can go out back, but if out front is full, one of us is SOL.

It's almost kind of funny though. Past neighbors that we had issues with were because of dogs/noise. However, with the currents, they are pretty quiet and their dogs are amazing and well behaved. Just the parking issue is freaking ridiculous. We now have to resort to juggling cars around and I'm tired of worrying about parking when I get home. It's not like it's a freaking apartment complex.

If its a rented place, I suggest you move.

If not,
Regarding the parking thing, I've seen people putting cones there to indicate it is "their space". You might want to do it. Or make a complaint to your residents committee/ police if that is part of their job description?

That's so passive aggressive. She even stated that the neighbors aren't bad neighbors, they just can't park worth shit. I think a report should only be filed if you've tried talking to them, otherwise it seems rude... but that's just my opinion.

Aww you can't expect a repeat of the first two suggestions. What's the point?

But thanks for assuming that I was asking for advice. Nowhere in my story did I ask for advice on how to handle it. Just sharing the utter wtfery involved. Which led to this -

Here, I'll even add another one-
We are avid animal people. Yet we always get stuck with neighbors who treat their pets like crap. One had a dog that kept jumping over the fence to be let out... while it was still tied to a tree. So they decided to just shorten the leash and STILL keep her tied to the tree (where it stayed 24/7). Poor thing hung itself. Nothing like seeing a dead dog hanging on your fence in the middle of the night during a rain storm.

Those people had to have gone through 4-5 dogs the time span that we lived there. We were able to help save one after numerous calls to the humane society. They took her away and found her a great home. Such a sweet dog too.

So once again,

By the way, it's never a good idea to fight with your neighbors when it comes to stuff like this. If you politely let them know that it's bothering you whatever they're doing and they still doing their shit then just call the cops and let them deal with it.

Yeah, I know. We've met them a few times and they seem nice, so we've been trying to figure out how to approach them without getting irritated. Because the real wtfery is when they volunteered our driveway to some random ass people. I can't figure out if they're being assholes or they're THAT clueless. They don't seem like the most intellectual people, so who knows. We think that they're renters and maybe for some reason are assuming this entire neighborhood is rentals (it's all independently owned condos), so maybe they think everything is a free for all?

We've got a Libra who's going to approach them about it, though. :p
