The Scientology creator, L Ron Hubbard, said the quickest way to 1 million dollars is to create your own religion. It couldn't be a more transparent racket.

What else can you say about a fake religion dreamed up by a third-rate science fiction writer? If he was alive to see the effect its had on simple people, he'd probably laugh his a** off.

Scientology is definitely a cult, and not a nice one either (are there nice cults out there—), very controlling.... Katie Holmes will need all the support she can get...

His Lestat in 'Interview With A Vampire' was a bit douchey imo. Then again I actually read the books before I saw the movie. Was wondering how a strapping French country lad circa 1500s who hunted wolves morphed into a swish with Valenciennes lace at his wrist. Lace was correct, limp wrists were not. Then again Anne Rices' books possess a lot of homo-erotic undertones. Good thing he's 5'4", he made it happen. 😛

as for scientology....words fail me. apparently intelligent people become total dumbfucks for these cults. i remember being dragged in to some scientology recruitment thing in london's tottenham court road. it was like the weirdest multiple choice exam i'd ever seen. i was outta there when i realised who they were.

katie holmes wasn't up to the job of being his scientology wife. she showed 'promise' as being pliable apparently but obviously did some waking up and smelling coffee in the nick of time. she'll be fine now as they have no further need of her but what about their daughter i wonder. will KH be allowed custody of the child when her religious views no longer match his.

Apparently, all of his wives were 33 when they divorced him. Mayhap another 'coming of age' story? 😛
