Boundaries

What are your boundaries for both romantic and familial relationships? Also, please state your sun/mars and mercury. I'm curious to see if there is any commonality between boundaries and sign/placement.

For me:

Pisces/Sag/Pisces

My boundaries for family are ensuring that I'm not being used - so I tend to look for reciprocity. As for romantic relationships, I don't tolerate disrespectful or controlling behavior.

I didn't catch your mercury placement? I can see some of the stuff you listed for your placements though. Kinda cool 🙂

Tbh, it took me a little bit to figure out that if you don't set them for yourself, others will set them for you - often to your detriment.

I think I am pretty open-minded and accepting in general.

Although, the older I get, I realize that I have very low tolerance when it comes to apathy/laziness (about life and people). Such a turn off when a person does not care about anything or anyone. No thirst for knowledge, growth, or passion for life. Arrogance, injustice/unfairness.

I don't think I'll cut relationships/connections because of these issues but they are glaring red flags for me to either distance myself (mentally and emotionally) or help the person improve (if they want it).

But the ultimate no-no for me is betrayal-deception-dishonesty. When it comes to a romantic relationship--- because nobody's perfect and we all fail in one way or another--- I try my best to work things out in every angle but once I realize the futility of it all, I stop, cut ties, move on, and don't look back.

I find that as I'm getting older, I don't tolerate negative or 'dramatic' people for very long. If they are gonna have a negative impact on my life - I tend to drop the axe pretty quickly. I just don't have time to mess around with someone like that.

This thread is making me wonder what quirks people are willing to deal with or even find endearing and their placements. Perhaps I'll make that thread this evening.
