My god this is incredible - 530 houses lost in the last week!

And what praytell is mother nature saying? Surely a venerable wit such as your own should feel adequately justified in speaking for her.

Mother nature could be saying a number of things:
1) OOOPS!!
2)I never liked those houses there to begin with!
3)Oh well, they'll just build back anyway, over the same fault system too... I wonder if humans ever learn?
4)What's for lunch?
5)What's next to destroy?
6)Serves those humans right for trying to destroy me!
