My little sister just went back to college.. Almost immediately upon returning, she asked for towels, coffee, and printer ink.

Idk if that helps.

I would have never thought of printer ink, but now that I think about it, that seems pretty logical.

(there were no computers back in the old days when I was in college. lol)

My sister goes to a private college in a small town. I think their library closes early, so she has her own laptop and printer in her dorm. Yours might not need it, depending on where he or she goes and how late their library is open.

I lived at home when I was in college, so I wouldn't have thought about ink either if my sister hadn't asked my parents for it.

GAS MONEY ? and an eighth will suffice.

Take the bus. There's no parking left within a mile of campus anyways.
Yea, but then you have to park somewhere to get to the bus! And then homeless people fall asleep on your shoulder and it's gross. I'm whining about gas money because I'm WACCing it this semester. That's Bentonville 2 days a week and Jones Center 2 days a week. ?

Time to move to my neck of the woods then. That's a long (construction/traffic filled) drive for you =\

Yep and physics is 1-4 in bville no less 😭

I wouldn't mind movin out to the country one day. I bet it's nice.

Usually depends on whether the package is for your son or daughter, however, I am a queen of unisex care packages!

1) Always include that snack from home. No one ever says, I coulda bought cookies at walmart, its always "OMG Mom sent me cookies!! *cue nostalgia*"

2) Cleaning supplies. Or at least money and a LIST. Or they might not know what to buy. I took a trip down to my stepdaughter's dorm with with package in hand (Travel size dish soap, sponge, all purpose cleaner, microfiber towels, Mop)

3) Printer Ink is a good one, also extra phone chargers, and usb cords.

4) Dryer Sheets - Besides dryer laundry, you can use them to dust, get rid of static cling on your clothes and hair, and make your room smell good by stashing them in the bottom of garbage cans.

5) A GARBAGE CAN - plus those plastic bags from the stores to line them with.

6) Over the door and hanging in closet everything: mirror for the dorm door, Towel racks or holders for the bathroom, closet organizers. Have the kid take a few pictures of the closet and then send away.

7) Damage free wire hooks or sticky nails.

8) A really cheap sheet set twice a year, lord knows they aint washing them.
