The Leo of course whenever I disagree or have a different opinion than him he tells me to shut up and just listen even if he asks for my statement/opinion. My mom Said he's your dad he can't disrespect you.

That's funny af. Not the fact of how it makes you feel inside, that part sucks. I catch myself doing the same thing though. Asking a question I already answered in my head, then getting pissed when the person says the opposite. I guess I need to work on that aspect of myself.

My problem I have is not so much as being asked to answer a question that you can answer but asking me a question that requires my own thought process to answer. Then telling me shut up because you don't like my choice of words.??‍♀️ It's despicable!

I agree. Personally I wouldn't tell them to shut up, but get argumentative. I always end up looking childish in the end anyway. I've been trying to hold back things like that.

You don't deserve that though. Hopefully he will soon see that it hurts you. He might not necessarily apologize, but learn to tone that fire sun down a notch.

My Dad is like that. He's a Cancer sun (but also an alcoholic so there are other issues there.) He hated whenever anyone disagreed with him and yelled at us constantly if we tried to voice our opinion. It never stopped though, he still does it even though we are adults. My siblings are all air, except one fire. We tend to just ignore him. Sadly, it has to be like that or else everyone would just be arguing all the time. I would say to try and talk to him. See how that goes. You never know, he might try to understand how it makes you feel.

But to answer your question, yes I do feel as though parents can disrespect their children. I hope to better understand my daughter as she grows. She is a Cancer sun/Sag moon like you. Crazy because her father is a Sag sun/Cancer moon like your Mom.
