ok, it doesn't have to be groups. anything you liked as i said, where you've been, mutual mutual friends, place you live, traveled, anything you posted about yourself.

That only explains the ones where a connection exists.
I have suggestions from people in places I've never been to like Saudi Arabia, lol

A lot of my suggestions had no mutual friends in common.

That only explains the ones where a connection exists.

but maybe that person liked something you did. some post. there's no way to find that out.
but i guess sometimes when algorithms are out of options give random suggestions.
my point is there's nothing to worry about imo.

I'm not worried, I actually find the suggestion page more interesting than some of the random posts in my feeds. But it's still creepy. Especially when they keep suggesting the same person.

Could be. I think they use a few commonalities to help throw you off on the ones actually searching and stalking your page.

I think they records everything. Like when exes stalk each other' page, the FB IT team is probably like 'get back together already.
I think FB works on a link system. The more someone clicks on your page, at some point, they'll be suggested regardless of 0 commonalities. And it may not mean they're stalking either, maybe they came across your page, liked what they saw, and now check your page frequently. That's why I make every post as private as possible

I have same theory.
A while back I was casually sleeping with a taken guy. I’d routinely stalk his girlfriends Facebook to make sure she was still happy. One day she randomly messaged me asking who I was because I kept popping up in her suggestions list.... YIKES 😬😬😬 
So then I used this feature to my advantage when I wanted to hookup with that guy a year after our deal ended. Just perpetually clicked his profile until he sent me a friend request from his suggestions queu 😂😂😂

The creepiest list, hands down. No, I don't know who these MFs are, so why does FB keep populating them for friend suggestions?
It's sinister really. Every single person on that suggestive list has searched for you in some way, shape, or form.
