If you would've asked me in grade school, it probably would've been Apollo & Artemis because they were artistic, youthful, aesthetically beautiful, & shot arrows. In high school, it was probably Dionysus since all he did was drink, party, & be debaucherous. Today, I'd probably say Eros because I've liked the story of Eros & Psyche and he was innocent compared to Aphrodite. I also like Hephaestus because he was underrated even though he created all of the gods & heroes' armor/weapons/talismans & he doesn't even have a planet named after him. He represented craftsmanship, technology, hard work & labor, & he was the most chill compared to the other gods. Unlike the other gods, he was depicted as even-tempered and I really feel bad for his character. Hera gave birth to him & then rejected him either due to him being lame or for some other reason (some stories say his fall from Olympus caused him to be lame). Hephaestus tried to gain revenge by creating a throne that disallowed Hera to leave Olympus, but Dionysus got him drunk & dragged him back to Olympus. Hera promised him Aphrodite to be his wife if she let him go and eventually, Aphrodite constantly cheated on him (mostly w/ Ares, but she boned nearly all of Olympus & a bunch of dudes on Earth). Hephaestus was like the defensive midfielder of Mt. Olympus; responsible for a lot of the myths due to the things he created but never really had too many stories about him.

Hecate, Greek goddess of the three paths, guardian of the household, protector of everything newly born, and the goddess of witchcraft -- once a widely revered and influential goddess, the reputation of Hecate has been tarnished over the centuries. In current times, she is usually depicted as a "hag" or old witch stirring the cauldron.
But nothing could be further from the image of Hecate's original glory.
A beautiful and powerful goddess in her own right, the Greek goddess Hecate was the only one of the ancient Titans who Zeus allowed to retain their authority once the Olympians seized control. Zeus shared with Hecate, and only her, the awesome power of giving humanity anything she wished (or withholding it if she pleased).
Usually classified as a "moon goddess", her kingdoms were actually three-fold . . . the earth, sea, and sky. Having the power to create or withhold storms undoubtedly played a role in making her the goddess who was the protector of shepherds and sailors.
Hecate's ability to see into the Underworld, the "otherworld" of the sleeping and the dead, made her comfortable and tolerant in the company of those most would shun out of fear or misunderstanding.
In her role as 'Queen of the Night', sometimes traveling with a following of "ghosts" and other social outcasts, she was both honored and feared as the protectress of the oppressed and of those who lived "on the edge". In Rome many of the priests in her sacred groves were former slaves who had been released to work in her service.
The goddess Hecate was often accompanied on her travels by an owl, a symbol of wisdom. Not really known as a goddess of wisdom, per se, Hecate is nevertheless recognized for a special type of knowledge and is considered to be the goddess of trivia.
Hecate's farsightedness and attention to detail, combined with her extraordinary interest in that which most of us discount as irrelevant or arcane, gave her tremendous powers.
She knew what the rest of us did not.

Orphic Hymn 66 to Hephaestus (trans. Taylor) (Greek hymns C3rd B.C. to 2nd A.D.) :
"To Hephaistos (Hephaestus), Fumigation from Frankincense and Manna. Strong, mighty Hephaistos, bearing splendid light, unwearied fire, with flaming torrents bright: strong-handed, deathless, and of art divine, pure element, a portion of the world is thine: all-taming artist, all-diffusive power, 'tis thine, supreme, all substance to devour: aither, sun, moon, and stars, light pure and clear, for these thy lucid parts [of fire] to men appear. To thee all dwellings, cities, tribes belong, diffused through mortal bodies, rich and strong. Hear, blessed power, to holy rites incline, and all propitious on the incense shine: suppress the rage of fire's unwearied frame, and still preserve our nature's vital flame."

More so the heroes rather than the gods.

Odysseus and his faithful dog Argus
Perseus

And the basis of our Gemini's... - The Twins: Castor and Pollux

I like the heroes more as well. Perseus and Medusa are probably my favorites.

But I also like Eros and Psyche. Hmm... can't decide.

Yea 🙂 Almost all the heroes had a common theme of going against their supposed "fate" and pretty much telling the gods to piss off

ye...kratos was never god of war just cause sony decided to ruin the greek myths by sticking a character of their own in there doesn't mean he suddenly became a god of war, Aries was and always will be the god of war..
i'm really deep into greek and norse mythology too so it kinda disgusts me that you feel the need to call kratos god of war.
don't wreck ancient history and religion with the shit head ideas of a gamer.

and for the record, Aries will always be my favorite god. no use explaining why to you because the game franchise "god of war" has probly destroyed his image to all the little nerds out there who play it.
