I live near the forest, and the thing that works best for me every time is to find a cold mountain creek in which to immerse myself- you have to go all the way under and stay in for a while. Sucks the excess heat right out of your body. You can practically feel the steam coming off of your head. Works like a charm. If you live in a city, then maybe an icy shower would replicate it (but that sounds unpleasant).

The potassium in a banana should help settle your stomach and replace some electrolytes lost during your little binge. If you have any B vitamins take those too. And water will help to rehydrate you - much of a hangover is the result of dehydration - Powerade or Gatorade is best though. And, take Advil or Motrin rather than Tylenol (the combination of Acetaminophen and alcohol in your system can have a negative effect on your kidney's to the point where it can cause kidney failure). However, Midol works good too - the caffeine acts as a vascular constrictor and will work better to relieve your headache (coffee works too - the mild diuretic effects are offset by other fluids, so don't worry about becoming more dehydrated).

All in all, NEXT TIME, drink a few glasses of water and take some Advil BEFORE you go to bed! This should help ward off the possibility of a hangover (or minimize the effects at the very least).
