Hands down, snape.
His death was one of the most meaningful and telling ones.so much sacrifice throughout the years all because of love for lilly
Many many years ago when I read dumbledores death I couldn‘t stop crying. I refused to continue reading a few days, too painful. Man I was young...

Okay, I’ll admit I didn’t think much of that one.
I think his death is much more personal and hitting in the books. Devastating. But I can’t say it’s worst than Sirius just because of how much he meant to Harry and how heartbreaking it must be to lose someone like that in such a tragic way, not to mention it was his own doing in a way.

i felt really bad for Sirius, and his experience and life choices. He had the worst blunt of it.
but, it seems that he found peace later and a cause which was Harry, to help him. Helping others in their time of need....sometimes that is what people need/desire in the end. and feel a sense of purpose.
Snape is really tragic, i think the most tragic because in all 7 books...
he is the VILLAIN. and he is not a goody goody guy either. so yes, he can fit all those roles, of looking like a cruel professor out to get Harry for being bullied by his father James Potter.
but in truth, his love is the deepest of all. His love goes so deep for Lily, that he would even risk his life for that child. Many of us thought that kind of love is too rare and beautiful.
this made him super courageous.

Sirius Black. Change my mind.
I cry every time I see it and read it. A close runner up is Fred Weasley, mostly because he is my favourite character.
