IP research....

It's not what you think... So hear me out.

I have done the necessary research and glad that i am a bit of a techy... Solved: the issue is that when ppl logon with multiple devices, their IP changes AND when you have multiple users, using multiple devices (i.e. Mobile), IP changes AND IS SHARED! by multiple users. Bcuz, if you look at my last posts IP, you will notice i share an IP with Iana04, harry99 AND kraftwerk... (sorry if i spelt any names wrong.) I know, as well as everyone else, that i am definitely not them. 🙂

Interesting.... Like assigning an IP from.... Idk, say from mexico to michigan...?

I'm not sure Bling... But i would assume so, seeing everything is an addy of some kind on the internet. I am definitely going to do more research. 🙂

MAC address is just a hardware-assigned address to the modem itself. It's not dynamic like an IP.

Lol! Nah, i had forgotten about that already and mpved on to.the same old IP fiasco... Lol! It's amazing that you can find simple answers with just alil research. 🙂

I have also noticed that my IP changed when i got a new phone and service. And if you hit my IP it will tell you i have only been here for the last few days instead of for the last 4 years. Lol!

It'll also change if you switch ISPs (which is what I think you also meant.)

Yes! That is exactly it. IP addy's are changing all the time with our mobile world. So, that would make it ALMOST impossible to track IPs, unless you have the software/hardware to do it. I.e. track location. I don't have that kinda time or money... Lol!

Lol! I guess that does make it more interesting. I didn't even think of that... 🙂 I would never do that, either... I kinda like living, right now. 😄

I'm sure it changes on your phone when you change cell towers....
Heck every time you close the internet and re-open it... it probably reassigns you a new dynamic address for your cell phone in the digital carrier constellation.
