For the last three days my yahoo mail accounts have not been working, I can't sign in and I get an error saying they can't process my request at this time. It's really annoying considering one of the accounts I paid for because it's a premium account. I emailed the help desk or whatever from my hotmail account and the guy sent me a reply to my YAHOO ACCOUNT (makes tons of sense), and I only know that because last night for about 5 minutes my premium account actually worked and I happened to get to read his email. Problem is, now I don't remember what he said to do (he did irritate me by saying "we have no record of the error you specified") - I tried clearing my cache, cookies, etc all to no avail. Even downloaded the latest version of Internet Explorer. Nothing's working I'm freaking out.

It's the same question I asked from tech. support over here and they talked about some issue in in win. reg.( in your computer) or( corrupt files) that might blocking the system.
in my case un-install and re-install worked.
they also babble about software based fire walls, so you'll have to dellete all the previous informations and start all over again...😢
I hate when its happen..
what you'll have to do its DownLoad the version you use and save it on your harddrive then un-install the version you have, restart the computer and install the program again.
but they also said "check with the firewall first" if its not working then go for un/re-install the program.
as I mention it it worked on my case.hope it work for you too.

and ahhh....one other thing....try also use another type of Web reader like "Opera" instead of "Internett Explorer" to check your accounts...Yahoo and MSN integrated it self to Explorer so when they corrupt something what ever you do the result is the same..however to sign in to your account use the "Opera" so you can check your mail and other stuff with no problem "while you waiting".
Opera is for free and can be downloaded from www.Opera.com
and new version is 7.5.

Hey QBone, thanks very much for all that help! I will try it. (It's still not working today, can you believe that?? I'm feeling a bit ripped off, what's the sense in paying for something that's not working?) The "help" people have been rather un-helpful, long story but basically they don't specifically answer a question, it's more like they give you some pre-written stock answer...grrrrrr....I'm just going to use my hotmail account until this is resolved. Thanks again for your help, I will try to get it to work tomorrow.
