On the 8th June '04 a rare planetary alignment called a Venus transit ie. the passing of Venus between the Sun and Earth occured and nobody alive today has witnessed this...and nobody alive ever will witness it more than ONCE!

I hear your crys but then that in itself is part of my facination with this occurance because of the way in which Venus works and what SHE heralds...ie.

Femininity, love, beauty, and social interactions on every level...between the sheets and friendships. In male charts it is believed to describe your ideal partner while in women it descibes how you get on with nature and your social attitudes and behaviour along with your aesthetic tastes and inclinations.

More importantly for me and in referance to the 2004\2012 transit Venus represents as she always has and does...the principles of harmony and "EQUILIBRIUM" in all of us.

Basically women are about to get the spotlight and the in-equality we see in the world and the workplace especially is about to be addressed by the source of femaninity herself...Venus in transit.
Recently here in the UK, pappers have been FULL of stories of how women are stepping up and being noticed...sueing the boards of directors (and winning) over unfair dismisals and discrimination. A poll has also seen more women in Managerial roles than in previous years.

Take the whole Afganistan \ Iraq thing...right or wrong...not the issue...but...
Millions of repressed women taken for granted daily are only now through "WAR" as that is also Venus' way able to have access to basic rights such as education and a vote...
Infact the the last Venus transit was in the 1800's and I have to do some searching but I'm pretty sure it was around the time the Western women were grated the vote!

Anyway...I just wanted to share with you all that these are great times we live in.
There will somehow in the next eight years that mark a Venus transit be more love, more inspiration, more hope and more prosperity ? all over the globe. In one way or another we are all about to discover a whole new side to our selves, our lives and our loves. Expect this Venus transit to restore balance...

America's domination will be checked...and who knows...maybe even a female president. Pollution and religeous fundamentalism is also said to come under scrutony and be sorted.

In a world where woman is a peace of property in a great many lands there is a great deal of unbalance to begin with. but to right this as I have said will be a great expense. A Marine was deployed to Afghanistan. While he was there he received a letter from his girlfriend. In the letter she explained that she had slept with two guys while he had been gone and she wanted to break up with him. AND, she wanted pictures of herself back.

So the Marine did what any squared-away Marine would do. He went around to his buddies and collected all the unwanted photos of women he could find. He then mailed about 25 pictures of women (with clothes and without) to his girlfriend with the following note:
