Why is it a partially dead language? Some parts of the Vatican Church in Vatican City still speak it but only in say sermons or such. I know English takes some pieces and scripts from Latin as a root language along with Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and most Western European languages. Why can't we bring back Latin? It's actually cleaner than English from what I've heard.
