It's hard to imagine other people of other races than ours ..could love us. But they can and we have to believe they can. Even if it's a lie. Because if we can convince our kids of this lie ....they might end up making it true.
You can choose to make the other side hate your people more ...or you can teach your children to love the other side.
And it takes a LONG LONG Time. And it's gradual and very delicate.
Imagine your enemy could love you. Teach that to your children.

Ok I am just talking about things I have seen ...
For some people ...their identity is defined by who they are not as much as who they are. Extremists collectively can be defined not just by loyalty to their people but they are defined as much by who their enemies are. Who the other is binds them together. In solidarity.
Not years ago TODAY. So we say...i don't want to be your enemy. I'll try hard. You are helping to water down the harder part of the identity. Well hopefully. Over time.
I cannot be any other thing that was decided for me at birth. But I can decide I want to be a pacifist. And I don't want to be an enemy.
That MY identity and loyalty to my tribe is not defined by having an enemy. I don't want one. I just want to love people.
So if they say something horrible ...i still love them and that doesn't mean I love my people less. Or that the people who do bad things back love our people more.

And i don't love my people less because I refuse to see an enemy.

we honestly need an alien attack to realize that there are no yours or mine people in these matters. saving the culture is a must, it brings diversity and knowledge but the rest, we are the same people. we even had one language one time ago. so this is all ridiculous.
