Yes I'm considering electricity as an element in this. If there is something you think is an element that wasn't mentioned feel free to describe it.

I'm going to list the elements I fear the most in order from least to worst.

I'm going to start with the element earth. I'm not saying it isn't devastating or destructive because it is. I think of things like volcanoes or avalanches. Even though some would argue a volcano is the fire element imo it isn't. It's 100% earth taking advantage of the fire element. While things like volcano, avalanches, or mudslides are terrifying and destructive they are the easiest to predict imo, and easier to avoid. Though earth doesn't give a fuck about you, and never will.

Next for me would be fire. Yes this scores low on my list due to the fact we have helicopters and tons of shitty tap water we can pour on it. I'm not trying to undermine the devastation and destruction wild fires have on the earth though. It truly is a shitty element that doesn't give a shit about you or anything. It loves to feed on the earth and air element to survive, but lucky for us the earth is mostly water, so it can only do so much. Though destructive af, also easily defeated at least for the majority of places on this planet.

Next imo would be air. Now we've got things like tornadoes and hurricanes. Shit that is powerful and truly doesn't give a fuck about anything you love. You can't even stop it or avoid it, or truly predict what it will do. Which makes it that much more intimidating imo. Air doesn't give a shit. It rules this planet like water does imo. Just evacuate or shelter yourself below ground. It's the only way to survive air.

Next is even worse then air imo, which is water. You can't escape it, and it even carves paths through solid rock. It defeats all elements pretty much. You can't hide underground because it will flood you. Even taking higher ground might not work in a tsunami. With enough time water will erode everything in its path. It is truly an unstoppable element, and will win any battle given enough time. It still isn't my most feared element.

Most can guess I'm picking electricity or plasma as my most feared element. I find electricity absolutely terrifying. While all the other elements are pretty predictable and even avoidable, electricity doesn't give a shit about elemental rules. All it knows is "I exist, need to connect to something, fuck you." Then you die. Literally fuck lightning, fuck electricity, and anything about it. I rather be sinking in the titanic then in a lighting stom, but that's just me.

What are your most feared elements?

I will say water as well.

If you drown, it's almost torturous, there is no escape from it if you don't know how to swim well, or go with the current, instead of fighting it in a riptide. Your lungs burn from the inside out and it takes 6-7 minutes to drown, so you suffer horribly. At least with fire your body gets numb and shuts down from the trauma.

Tsunamis can make the waves crash into places and knock them down like they were made of cardboard. Flooding can have you feeling trapped with no where to go, if there is no higher ground to reach.

It sweeps away everything within seconds and sneaks up on you like a silent killer, if you aren't paying attention.

Fire. It's what made the 9/11 people jump 110 floors down.

I was thinking more of fire occurring in nature rather then taking place unnaturally in a building like 911. Some could argue that wildfires are unnaturally made by humans though, so that point is arguable. Though as terrible and tragic as 911 was, it still wasn't as destructive as the tsunami that hit Japan years ago. Though one point I can make about that is the fact things were burning on top of the water during the tsunami which shows the power of fire. Completely out of its element and still burning. I'm not saying that to undermine the destruction or lives lost tragically, just comparing the elements and nothing more.

I'm just thinking of the fear of what is coming at you. I'd rather take my chances of drowning then burn alive. I know someone here posted that drowning was painful which is different from what I've always heard. That it was peaceful and quick once your brain is starved of oxygen - you are aware of nothing. Taken from accounts of people who had that near-death experience.
