She's been bedridden since last week. We couldn't understand her anymore. She can't speak properly. She's been dreaming about her husband (our "lolo", our "grandfather") every once in a while. Our grandfather died in 1995. She thinks he's just outside our house "waiting for her."

This is giving me "goosebumps." I'm scared that our "lola" is going to die anytime soon. I still don't know how to cope with this. We're surely going to miss her. I don't like deaths. It always gives me WEIRD emotions. Sometimes I don't even know how to feel about it... but it's probably going to happen... That's why I always make it a point to talk her every day. I haven't even spent much time with her. I don't know. It's way too soon. 😢

It's nice that she's tied to her partner like that
What do you mean, Tiz? 🙂 You mean, my lolo/grandfather?
Indeed. I have a Teta here who is still tied to her husband after he passed away in Lebanon. She writes entire books about him and their travels together.

Amazing love story! 🙂

But lol my grandparents had arranged marriage. Good thing, it worked! They were married until my lolo's death and my lola has not looked for another partner ever since. They bore 8 children. Amazing, isn't it?
