Phone citation in NJ

I need an advice. Friend called this morning while driving and got citation and 5!! Points.

Now I hear lawyer can remove those points.

Googling shot and nothing I can find.

Any info how to get rid of the points? Thanks

She needs to take a safety course and pay the fine and then it is removed.

Called NJ lawyers.

He said no admitting to anything.

He should say he was watching Movie which is somewhat violation but no points given.

Or tool call about medical emergency...lawyer said for $ 600 he will play something out...

I said thanks and figured for $ 600 I’ll figure something out myself...lol

I am going to assume NJ is similiar to NY. Plead not guilty, talk to the district attorney and they will knock it down to a non moving violation, no points but surcharge.

This morning he is driving in system island...calling me asking if I can talk for a minute. I said yes. But I can’t hear you. Because I was on speaker! ..so he said I’ll pull over...

When he pulled over I’ve heard he is talking to somebody...those were cups!

So they had not seen him TALKING ON TJE PHONE because I was on speaker!!!
