I play poker and while I understand it is a 'numbers' game in many ways, I can't get beyond feeling like my 'gut feeling' is just as valuable.

In poker you cant count cards there are well over 2 million combos in texas holdem. But you can determin what your fellow players will do and will not do in beting you win by reading them and noing the odds of how strong a hand is out aganist you.
I am neither but am very good at poker. I'm good at reading people, I put it down to my Psychology background. Are the Psychologists not up there with the winners? I would never play poker against Derren Brown lol
