and I say to don't mind. what have I said?
There is a language differance

If I tell you I will meet you at half nine what have I said?

when you say "you dont mind" means that you are not interested anyway but you have plenty of time to waste on something that later "might" be interesting to talk about

I would actually think that by "half nine" you mean 8:30 (I'm thinking "half til nine" or something). And assuming you mean "I" don't mind, to me that statement would mean, "sure, but I'm not extremely enthusiastic about it or anything, but I'll go".

Usually I think of "I don't mind" as more a response to "can I borrow that sweater?" or "sorry I'm late...". lol.

don't mind means o.k., why not, sounds good

That was a lot more confusing than it had to be...

In the future, we should all just use the least amount of words as possible... Like yes and no. That way there's no confusion over what anybody means.
