Also I would think it would be good to drink as much water as possible. And the reason I think that is because a dance instructor of mine would always tell us to drink a lot of water before and after performances because it helps the muscles to stretch (or something like that). So I'm theorizing that it might help them to heal from being stretched too much, too. But Parallax's answer sounds far more medically credible. 😛 Feel better...
hey cj7 - I myself had a wonderful kayaking experience the other day...isn't it the best? I really wouldn't mind becomming a professional kayaker!!! I'm glad your shoulder is feeling much better.
Morgan, that happened to me a very long time ago. I was unable to take my shirt off and I was in the worst pain..had to go to the emergency room where they cut my shirt off and put tens units on my muscles. I was under stress at the time..cause a vertabrae to sublexate and then the muscle to tense up. I had to get rid of the stress before I could truly heal -- I am hoping that yours is not that bad!!!
It wasn't as bad as that Freebird, thankfully. I didn't go to the emergency room, but I'm having an aweful time trying to extend my arm all the way or lift it up past my shoulder.
I think it's getting worse... There is just absolutely no comfortable way to sleep. Hense everymorning it feels worse than the last. Blah.
freebird- yeah i really like getting out on the water, and theres tons of it in florida. i had to get a knife though to strap on my leg, the only thing that freaks me out are alligators, and we have tons of them too. its a sit-on top so theres really no feeling of protection. for some reason, in saltwater i dont really think about the sharks, but i bring the knife anyway.lol
Hope you feel better. But hey, I was checking out your xanga blog and can you give me the link to that bg music? Although I think 'the real folk blues' is more favorable 🙂
I'm really, really, really not getting along with my father right now. We can't be around each other for more than five minutes without one of us wanting to kill the other (I don't mean that seriously, of course, just figuratively). I'm sorry to say it
Note to self: accumulating a community site is not your forte.
I have to say though... it's mostly our faults that men are the way they are today. Well not really but PARTIALLY YES it is. Men remain cold and distant, why? Because we women favor t
I'm curious what you all think about tattoos. Many, many of my friends, male and female have them. I have to admit, when done well, they're really cool to look at. (When they're bad though, I feel really bad for the person that they have to live with i
Well, the sun is out, its getting warm and now is a good time to get your favorite ride out and clean it up. Anyone out there like to wax and clean their cars or bikes? For many years, it has been a fun hobby for me. I have wasted some serious cash on ca
Grrr...I don't have road rage or anything, but I certainly have moments when I feel like screaming at certain other drivers on the road. First of all - I hate how people with enormous cars bully me on the road because I have a small car. I've noticed th
Do you ever wonder about those people who have made a deep impact on you for a short period of time, never to be heard from again? Life sepperated you and you slowly drifted apart. . . It seems to me that every person that touched me deeply and then left
Well, I dont dare give away the best ones, yet, but,one of my favorites at work was: go to a friends car (unsuspecting co-worker) turn up the radio, turn on the AC if it is a cold day and the Heat if it is a hot day, turn on the wipers, move the seat all
I just spent the most amazing evening with my Cancer friend from the land down under. It was so great. I haven't had such a good time in years, and I truly mean that. I'd forgotten completely what it's like to
Anybody have any suggestions to make it heal faster?
