Also I would think it would be good to drink as much water as possible. And the reason I think that is because a dance instructor of mine would always tell us to drink a lot of water before and after performances because it helps the muscles to stretch (or something like that). So I'm theorizing that it might help them to heal from being stretched too much, too. But Parallax's answer sounds far more medically credible. 😛 Feel better...

hey cj7 - I myself had a wonderful kayaking experience the other day...isn't it the best? I really wouldn't mind becomming a professional kayaker!!! I'm glad your shoulder is feeling much better.

Morgan, that happened to me a very long time ago. I was unable to take my shirt off and I was in the worst pain..had to go to the emergency room where they cut my shirt off and put tens units on my muscles. I was under stress at the time..cause a vertabrae to sublexate and then the muscle to tense up. I had to get rid of the stress before I could truly heal -- I am hoping that yours is not that bad!!!
