No beatings at 16, my parents never had to come at me like that because I never did anything to warrant that kind of punishment and plus my family gave us a lot of freedom of expression and it took a lot to tick my parents off but If my father asked me to do something I did it, she didn't do it and it escalated, had she listened to him like she listened to her father and then he proceeded to beat her the way he did I would most definitely agree with everyone but since she didn't do what she was told well she suffered the consequences for being obstinate. No, I would feel pretty bad to see that happen to anyone boy or girl and it pretty much looks like the judge could be the cause of more severe abuse getting swept under the rug considering his views (if the article is correct) as well as his position. Supposedly most of his cases involve kids.
I know some parents come from a certain upbringing where they sincerely believe physical punishment is necessary to teach a child right and wrong (I personally disagree but I know it's a genuine belief) but like Westside says this guy looks like he's enjoying himself.
