No, I would feel pretty bad to see that happen to anyone boy or girl and it pretty much looks like the judge could be the cause of more severe abuse getting swept under the rug considering his views (if the article is correct) as well as his position. Supposedly most of his cases involve kids.
I know some parents come from a certain upbringing where they sincerely believe physical punishment is necessary to teach a child right and wrong (I personally disagree but I know it's a genuine belief) but like Westside says this guy looks like he's enjoying himself.
