Why didn't the 1960s come back? I think that was the awesomest decade of all. The music, the fashion, the culture (hippie culture that is!). Why?

US. 🙂
The 1960's for black folk save for the music was a crap shoot. The fashion some parts of it are resurgent even today...can't say that is a good thing or a bad thing though.
What do you like about the U.S. 1960's in specific?click to expand

The advocacy for peace and love which culminated in Summer 1969's Woodstock. That's got to be really awesome. I do not wish to live through that era coz no internet but I really want to feel its vibe again.
I like the fashion and the music. Some of them are coming back but the 1960s are hardly featured as an entire decade unlike 1950s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, all of which were featured in a few movies and tv shows.click to expand

the 60s is more about frank sinatra musically. Rock n roll was in a slump after the 50s.
Also the worst decade for hollywood. Almost nothing but boring westerns and WW2 movies

The 70s is where it's at bro. The afros, bell bottoms, disco, bo bo's, earth, wind and fire, the Ohio players etc.

Woodstock is remembered as more 1970s than 1960sclick to expand
