The Little Bunny Rhymes

Though I will not be revealing my name just yet,
I hope you remember me by the chocolates that you get.
Though I am not as good a songwriter as Seal,
This poem is the only way I could truly express how I feel.

Nor can I ever be as poetic as the dame Emily Dickinson,
But a lovely lady like you is always a good, resounding reason.
To poetry and other forms of literature, I have no passion
But I can make one, two or more poems out of inspiration.

Love can further turn my poems into songs,
And to music, this one I'm writing certainly belongs.
Your lovely presence is a measure of my existence,
A reminder of you is always a reason for my day to commence.

For you are my honey and I am your bee,
I will always follow you around until we are both happy.
My writing will temporarily cease from here,
Until you send me a letter, my other words you will not hear.

Whenever somebody says something about attraction,
It’s you I remember.
Whenever I’m reminded by happiness,
It’s your smile that comes to mind.
Whenever I remember the world,
It’s us – and no one else.

There’s no denying my love for you,
Yet I could not say it in front of you.
I’d rather write a poem,
And not reveal my name.
As long as you read this and you be happy,
That’s all that it takes for me to have a good day.

Please don’t deny yourself of the happiness you deserve,
I know you haven’t talked to me for a long while,
But I know that we have spark because I’ve felt it.
And I’m sure that you have felt it too.
So speak to me and let our future begin.
I love you and I promise I’ll take care of you.

Do not hesitate but please do not feel the pressure,
If you want, you can send me letters back.
This is all that I could do for now,
To let my words fly to you.
Because I miss you, and I love you…
So much.

Coming Home

Empty as I trod the path of my life.
Didn’t know what I was missing all along,
Until I decided to pray a little novena,
Telling me to surrender my life to You.

And that begins a new journey,
Of faith, of hope, and of love.
Flying and flying beyond the skies,
There I am, gliding like a dove.

No matter how hard the struggles I’ve been through
I hold on to my faith with You,
My trust getting stronger,
Deeper is my gratitude too.

You fill me up with love and compassion,
With hope through the sourest times.
With glee through the most mundane hours.
With spirit through the darkest nights.

As I walk now through the path of my life,
Flowers abloom, grasses afresh,
Springtime it is with lots of morning dew,
Lovelier are the winds, the air, and the breeze too.

Mercy and forgiveness as You taught me,
Saved me so many times,
Repaired my relationships,
And even brought me to newer heights.

I love You dearly,
And I will always do,
For You are my shepherd,
And my life will always be safe with You.
