Traveling!!! Help!

I'm planning on taking my mom and my 2 daughters on a vacation trip. I have a few ideas but not sure. If anyone has any experience and any info to help me decide if really appreciate it.
Also keep in mind price. I've heard there are great places to travel that aren't that expensive.
I live on the East coast in Maryland.

The other ideas sound amazing though. My youngest wants Alaska so we may do a cruise there next year. It's hard once they get older because of school and sports.

It's a few major things with a ton of minor annoyances. Put them together and I am stressed out of my mind.
The two major events have been my grandmother passing away and that oncologist appointment which is today.
