odd... I posted and it didn't show up... maybe I posted it somewhere else by accident?anyway, what I said was...

I understand that this may sound a little strange but I hear voices. Actually one voice-twice, very whispery and provacative almost. The first time she (it was female) spoke she said something like "how are you" or "what are you doing" (i can't recall exactly what) and the second time she was really really angry, yelling at me. Yes- it sounds insane, verging more toward schizophrenia, but it's what I heard.

Oh and there are LOTS of ghosts in Washington D.C. (if there are any anywhere). Especially in Arligton cemetary. Whn I went there it felt like I was intruding upon a no-tresspassing ground, very solemn and subdued like I wasn't welcome (moreso than any other cemetary I've been to)

About the voice Gwen...I don't necessarily think it's borderline schizofrenic, because one time while I was meditating, I actually "saw" and "heard" (in my mind) this red haired guy with a beard dressed in civil war attire, say my name. It was extremely weird, and I've tried to experience it again, but haven't been able to. The feeling I got was that he's one of my spirit guides, which sounds really dippy and new-age-y, but you know what, I don't care in the least. lol. It happened. I'm sure of it.

I would love to go visit the "Queen Mary" (I think it's this boat in California)...it's supposed to be chalk-full of ghosts and paranormal activity. Washington DC sounds like my kinda place, too.

Ever been walking down the street, minding your own business, totally absorbed in deep thought...strolling along...and then all of a sudden without your realizing it reach the curb and you fall off of it, but it feels like you just fell twenty feet down off some sort of cliff, and you freak out for a second and your heart starts racing until you look down and realize you only fell like 6 inches?

lol. Maybe that's just me, but I do that all the time.

LOL!!! Oh that was a funny post Luz--I have done that SO many times! And then you feel like a dork because you're standing there frozen for a second, thinking, "wow, I almost died from that fall" or (in the case of the stairs, "wow, my foot can't penetrate this floor", lol) and then you realize that like, it's all about paying attention when you're walking and climbing stairs. LOL.

I used to get a weird deja vu feeling along with it! Maybe I was a royal clutz in a former life!! LOL!

I have heard my name called in that 'not quite asleep' phase...but, not really awake either...until I heard my name! LOL!

One time, I had the feeling of a man lying next to me...(no one was there)...but he was holding me (nonsexual), in a comforting manner (was having many difficulties in my life at the time and think it was one of my angels...)

Another time, (a happier, more recent time) I felt a cat jump on my bed and proceed to walk on me, next to me...wherever the cat wanted as only a cat will do!! Thing is...I don't have cat. But, it was a very comforting feeling and I knew it wasn't real...

I know that deja vu feeling. Often I hear an odd word and my mind just clicks onto it- the first time I remember was the word "trivia"- and the next day/hour whenever, see or hear that word so many times and usually in important circumstances. It happens all the time with different words, in fact, it just happened yesterday but I'm so used to it that I can't remember the word. I read up on it one time and the book I read said it had something to do with being naturally psycic.

What an interesting thread this has turned into!

Ever had this happen? You're right on the verge of falling asleep, in that murky weird place between waking and dreaming, and all of a sudden you feel like you just fell, and you freak out and sit up all of a sudden? Gosh, that happens to me like every other night.

Star, I think there are angels all around you my dear 🙂

I hate when I'm sitting there all by myself minding my own business, and I feel this tickling thing on the back of my neck...and I ignore it for a few seconds, but then it gets more intense, and I flip the hell out and start smacking my own neck trying to kill whatever it is that I think is crawling on me, and then I realize, it's my own hair!! LOL, gosh I can't tell you how many times I've done that.

LOL, yeah I haven't had that "omg I'm falling" thing while on the verge of sleep for quite a while...could be because I never sleep, but hey...lol.

Yeah my dad also likes to come up behind me when I'm reading or concentrating really hard on something and pull one of my hairs...LOL, it pisses me off, so I slap him...hehe...only lightly on the hand, but, it really annoys me even though he gets a kick out of it. lol

Alright, here's something odd an inexplicable. Yesterday I was ringing up a salon owner who was buying several bags worth of stuff, and all day my mind had been focused on just making it through the day. If I could just make it through the day, it would be all good. And all day long, I was dropping things. Luckily I didn't break anything, but you know, I just wasn't at my most graceful. lol. Anyway, I'm with this customer. And we're joking around with each other, making conversation as I'm totalling her out...and I hand her the last of her four bags, and I said...I ACTUALLY SAID THIS..."Would you like any help with the door? Because that's a big haul to load".

WTF. lol. "that's a big haul to load"— What is THAT??! I don't know if she noticed, but I felt like the BIGGEST FREAKING IDIOT ON THE PLANET.

by the way, I was laughing so hard at myself when I got in my car to go home that I had to duck down so nobody would see the crazy woman all by herself laughing in the parking lot. lol. Oh, and the other day, I soooo had my mind on how much I hate work and what I'm going to do when I quit and blah blah blah, that I DOUBLE PARKED. I didn't even realize it until I got out of my car. And then I was almost too embarrassed to fix it. lol.

And then here you go...(I deserve the dumbass award of the century)...the other week I was helping a customer who had about 20 minutes worth of questions about chemical relaxers, and I was trying to tell her that the "no-lye" relaxers are the most gentle and the better choice for a child's hair, and I said, without even thinking, "because the ones with lye in them can make for a hairy situation. [pause] No pun intended." And both the woman and myself completely burst into laughter at the same time, it was the most lame thing I've ever said in my life. lol. I can't believe myself. That is how mentally absent from the job I am at this point. lol.
I wonder sometimes because for instance, the guy that just got caught for all the sniper murders. I was so glad that they caught him and angry at what he did, but now that they caught him I feel so bad for him and his step-son. I cant believe how their

I have this friend and I enjoy them very much. It is not anything sexual, not yet, but it is great on a emotional level. They are funny and witty and very smart. The only problem is, they know how much I care about them and so they use this. Maybe I

Yeah I have a question for all of you. Maybe not all of you, but some of you, I've noticed that you mention God a lot. I understand that you're Christian, or just have some kind of strong faith, which most people do. I really don't understand why you have

you know what bugs me? When ppl judge you for the way you talk. So what if the person doesnt talk as intellectually as you? Why do ppl judge on this? Why do some adults think you dont know as much just because you dont talk well as them?? Even guys, guys

What is your town known for or what is the most unique thing that your town has? For instance, my town is known for their roses and a junior college drill team called the Apache Belles.
