WHISKY, COFFEE, TEA.

I have taken note that in america or in the U.S.A. the tea sucks the whisky is not that great because they have a limited amount of single malts but the coffee is wounderful. In the motherland Tea rules Whisky flows as it should but our coffee sucks.
Just a bit of info for the masses.

Our coffee is good? Ok, if you say so...maybe doctored up a bit - I'll take my coffee w/ a little Jameson and Irish Cream TYVM 🙂

I think some of it has to do with the preparation. A microwave and a bag is not a great cup of tea. Boil water, pour it out, steep loose leaf tea in a ball made for it. Enjoy.

*Their* coffee doesnt even come from the US itself, but mostly from SOUTH AMERICA (Colombia, Brazil, etc) so give the credit where its due 😄

My favorite coffee is Cafe Bustelo. Used to drink folgers, but got sick of it.

And the whiskey made in the US should not be compared to scotch whisky. Two different beasts aren't they?

It really does, and I never insult coffee by putting it in the microwave to reheat it.

I'm not really a whiskey drinker but surely it must vary by region and technique. Barrels used, time in, etc.

One time I stopped by McDonald's for a cup of coffee. 😢 I have to admit...I thought it was pretty good.
