You Are Intense

You are a bit quieter than most people, but you have a lot of thoughts and emotions brewing.

You are moody and dramatic, but you tend to keep that on the inside.

You have the makings of an artist - especially a novelist. You've got a lot to get out of that head of yours.

It's hard for you to take anything lightly. You feel more strongly than most people.

Mr. Nice..come at it from a scientific angle. Simple measurements add up to alchemy. It's formulaic. Don't be leery of cooking. Start with something simple that you can just walk away from. A nice roast chicken, thick chops with a simple stuffing and root veg. You can assemble it easily, pop it in the oven and leave it untended for hours.

Ya?? gotta a microwave XXXX? Of course ya?? got a microwave.

Ya?? gotta a 8 inch microwavable dish, well, maybe. Needs to be 2.5 -3 inches deep. Needs a lid.
Coat the bottom with olive oil. You can use other types, but olive is the best, trust me.
Put a layer of tater tots on the bottom. Yup, just plain old tater tots. Take them right out of the bag, frozen. Maybe one layer thick, with maybe a few extra.
Take a small to medium sized bag of frozen veggies. Your choice. I have used mixed, brussel sprouts, etc. Pour them on top of the tater tots. Again, fresh out of the freezer, and still frozen.
Take some chicken, again, fresh out of the freezer. Make a layer of chicken on top of everything else.

Now the hard part. Brace yourself, it may get technical here, I hope you have a culinary dictionary handy.

Take a can of mushroom soup. Plop it into a mixing bowl. You need a fair sized one to hold the condensed soup. Maybe add a quarter to third a can of water. Do not add the recommended amount.
Into your soup add a bit of pepper, Mrs. Dash, a bit of garlic powder, a little chopped onion, and maybe some nice parmesan cheese. Basically, spice it up to your personal tastes. Start light and add later is a good way to go.
Pour this over your stuff in the cooking dish.

Put the lid on, and put into your microwave. Heat for 6 minutes. Look at it and make sure things are looking good, maybe move the chicken around a bit to ensure proper cooking. Repeat until the chicken is done. The rest of your ingredients will also be fully cooked. Mine usually takes 20-30 minutes, depending on how deep I stack the layers.
Maybe throw a little parsley on top for the proper visual effect, and there you have it, a lovely chicken dinner.

LOL I like the chicken dinner idea. Oh it's an event when I make cookies. I can't make a dozen or even two. Nope. It's 6 or more per type of cookie. When I was doing daycare they were laid waste in under 3 days. I won't even talk 'bout the doughnut jar, that got ugly.

Ahhh that simply requires a bit of adjustment. Why curry especially? ( No need to tell me of your shores love of it..haha ). It could be a lasagna of thin courgette slices in place of pasta, a good vegetarian bolognese and cheese...if she eats dairy. A soup of squash, perfumed with onion and garlic. Good crusty bread and some nice fruit. A thick meatless chili spooned over basmati rice. Stuffed green peppers, poke a mix of cooked rice, tomato sauce, garlic and onion inside. Slather it with more sauce and walk off for an hour. A lovely frittata. No limit. 🙂

Whyyyyy do I get the feeling I'd be making cookies for all of dxp? 😛
