why can't just post pics wihtout using html tags??

imgur.com is a cools site but I don't quite like that one has to use html tags and such to post a pic on this site..
there are pics I'd like to share but that htmlorwhateverprocess feels like a burden to me..lol and I most of the time end up not posing any pics..:s

+ I think I should('ve) creat(ed) this thread on the how to make or better(?? can't exactly recall the forum title) this site..? forum..but I could not find said forum so I post this thread here.. sorry

Cost. Hosting images can be expensive and its cheaper to just link to stuff hosted elsewhere.

What if there was a button to autocomplete the html code, so that the user just inserts the URL?
