"CHERAW, SC - A man is being airlifted to the Richland hospital after Police said his girlfriend shot him.
The incident happened after 9:00 Saturday night at the West Forest Apartments in Cheraw.
Cheraw Police Captain Keith Thomas said Yolonda Michelle Streater, 27, from Cheraw shot Marlin Terrell McFarland, 27, also from Cheraw after an argument.
Police said the suspect pulled a small handgun from her purse and shot the victim in the groin.
The suspect called 911.
Streater is charged with attempted murder.
The investigation continues, police said."
