What a fuckin creep, then again doesn't surprise me corporations always have a nack for mainting a good image.. I'd keep the review up and be extra cautious. Keep a bat with nails.

Posted by justagirlOh I know. It's why I don't look at the reviews for my restaurant. Some of the stupid fuck shit people bitch about/make up is ridiculous.
A business contacting you over a review is harassment unless you asked for them to contact you.
The problem is that Yelpers sadly give bad reviews because let's face it people are assholes. I have some from people that never lived at the places I managed but they got denied for credit or whatever reason and they will try to destroy a business. It's sad and abusive.
A business that fights back with a reviewer is just a bad business and shits happening more and more, that too is sad. How the hell did he get your number?!?!!

I've recently had an issue with a business over how terribly they handled a situation and left a negative review to better help other consumers. This business is a 5 star rated, glowing reviewed business, but that was FAR from what was received. Threw mine out there because something's up if they only have very few.
The day after I left the review, the guy tries calling me twice, from two numbers, at 8 am, as well as texting, wanting to talk to me about the review. Wtf? I don't know what else there is to discuss. We talked about it prior and it boiled down to them refusing to do business and I respected that and took my business elsewhere.
Part of me is contemplating taking it down because dude knows where I live and has reacted really weirdly to the negative review. Pair this with all the 5 star reviews, and it makes me wonder how often this approach has occurred.
Anyway, came across this when poking around about this type of issue via Yelp, and wow. Anyone else had a business get really weird/hostile about your HONEST critical reviews?
Would the threat of being sued stop you from Yelping about a terrible burger? Yelp is cracking down on businesses that threaten their critics with lawsuits, now adding a mark to the company’s profile to indicate it’s engaged in such behavior. The new consumer alert discloses that a business “may be trying to abuse the legal system in an effort to stifle free speech.”
In a post published on Yelp’s blog yesterday, the company cites a couple examples of companies that have threatened legal action against reviewers. In one instance, a Texas couple was sued for posting what Yelp called “an honest but critical review” of a pet-sitting service.
