you like to start a new activity group..??

so I was a member of rsg (reading shakespeare group) about two years ago, but then the group closed down not long after I joined.. :/
since then I've been on a hiatus but nowadays I'm debating to participate another..one or two..but then most of the time it requires me of quite traveling..which I don't think I'll be able to make time for.. like I travel for 3 hours back and forth for just 2 hours meeting.. it just would take up a big portion of my off days..and I honestly don't want that.. lol

so now I'm thinking of starting a group of my own..around my area..but then I'm not really that much of an organized person so I don't have trust myself lol as in how much of a good group organizer I would make.. lol

is there any one has ever started an activity group or two..? has ever been a leader?? or organizer??
if so, what are the things one should do and be able to handle as the organizer..?
or any other tips you would like to share..??

(+ I'm thinking of some literature club..like classic literature or a club for reading short stories..
or if not, a public speech group, as I was a member of one about one or two years ago, and I've a license to teach in public speaking.. not that I've got a great experience at it, but I might be able to help people and they me in return..)
