wow! i know this movie was hyped up a lot, but despite that, it's actually good (in my opinion). i really think anyone who has the opportunity to see it should, because it made me cry, and I DON'T CRY AT MOVIES. it's truly touching and the actors are fantastic; i don't know about their backgrounds but they portray america's silent youth well. the acting is not mawkish at all. and it's based on a true story, which makes the storyline that much sweeter.
