it had a real story to tell, a faithful and honest man, triumphs over a deceitful and morally bankrupt child. The real Commodus was so evil his own Praetorian drowned him in his bath water.and the music score was brilliant, especially the closing piece.unfortunately the lead actor turned out to be just another hollywood schmuck.

I just watched that movie for the first time....i know this is a old movie but I am the type that like to watch a lot of reruns..but this movie was da bomb!!!
