I love X-File moments like that! 😛 I have to agree, and passionately so, that the scene you speak of in the movie Almost Famous is definitely one of the best ever. I will look into The Commitments - you're right, it sounds like something I would like a lot. I'll probably buy it online - you know, along with that certain book I'm not going to mention but which you're well aware of my curiosity in. lol 😛
We had another X-File moment not long ago, but I can't remember what it was - but I remember that it involved your drive to work and I do believe it was something that came on the radio that referred to something we'd talked about on the boards.
If dxpnet.com had a search function for the message boards, I could find it lickety-split.
Ahhh....I think I found our other X-File moment. It's on the Mooning thread. "Where do you go, my lovely?"
I just realized it's been almost a year since the conclusion of the Mooning thread. Perhaps we should celebrate the one-year anniversary of its completion somehow. You get the kneepads; I'll get the Altoids. 😛
Perhaps we should start another. (That would sound really cool with a Vincent Price accent)
I have to say I did very much enjoy the collaboration as well. And for all the reasons you mentioned.
..."she said, whispering, barely audible into his ear, gently suckling at his neck..."
...😛 Kidding, kidding... I agree that it would just naturally happen, isn't that the best way to approach most things in life? I'm starting to think so. "Let It Be" was more than just a good album, it's a nice motto. Mantra. I'm always confusing "mantra" and "motto". I like the way "Mantra" sounds, more than "motto". But I have a feeling that "mantra" has to do with meditation and not life philosophies.
Yes, it is amazing.....all of it.
And...Altoids....yum. 🙂
Hahahahaaaaaaaa. 🙂

Has anyone seen this movie? It's a few years old I think. I saw it for the first time the other day and I thought it was a beautiful film. I wasn't sure whether to post this in the movie section or the music section, because the film is about music, but, you know. Anyone else like it?
